1" ratchet snap on

I was looking for some one to aid me on my recent find, a L-73 1" ratchet with what looks like a removable 3' bar (handle)
Some one told me to I can date it by some code? but I do not really know where to look,I have cleaned it up and do not see to see any kind of code.
Now below the selector it reads this:
(snap-on L-73 usa)
The only onther mark that i see is in between the "on" and "off" (selector) it appears to be something that resembles a tiny ractangle shape?
Any way any help on this would be much apprecieated and thank you

the ratangle shape is a date code, there is a date code sheet tab on the main site here. Sounds like a 1960 code.
