From Ken and Roseanne Johnson here is a collection of 4 F-10s. The top photo is the newest an F-10-A from 1936, the second is a transition tool that has no date code and does not show up in the catalogs. It has a mix of the old overlap head and the grooves in the head shaft.  It must be 1934-1935. The third tool is dated 1931 and the bottom 1929 

 

Note : This 1931 nut spinner has been modified, it should be longer and have a hole at the end of the handle
